EL’s Christian walk began at an early age growing up in a Christian family in Clarksville, AR where his mother volunteered in numerous roles in the Church and where his father served as a Bible teacher, Deacon, and worship leader. From his parent’s leadership and Christian environment, EL began his spiritual walk early on and accepted Christ at a young age.
After graduating from Clarksville High School, he left Arkansas to attend Lambuth University, a Christian College in Tennessee, where he played football, was a member of the FCA huddle on campus, and served as an officer of the Religious Life Committee.
Throughout the past 30 years, EL has had a unique career owning several businesses, being a former award-winning college athletics director, and serving as President and CEO of United Way of West TN and United Way of Fort Smith Area. Currently, he serves as Community Affairs Manager for OG&E.
He and his wife Amber live in Clarksville AR and are very proud of their four children and three grandchildren.
