Jenna Bloom - Arkansas Razorback Softball

Jenna Bloom is a RS-Freshman from Huntington Beach, CA. She knew early on that she wanted to play college softball in the SEC and Arkansas was the perfect place for her because she wanted to be a part of what Coach Deifel was building in Fayetteville.

Jenna comes from an interfaith family. With a Jewish father and Christian mother she celebrated several different religious holidays growing up. She never really leaned one way or the other and found herself just sitting in the middle. Although her parents practice their faith differently, both are police officers. During a season of turmoil in the United States, Jenna feared for her parents' lives every day.

One day Jenna sat down with a notebook with the intent of writing down her priorities and the first thing she wrote down was "HIM". She wanted to do everything through HIM and for HIM and it was this decision that gave her a peace that surpassed all understanding.

Taylor Green played a huge role in Jenna's spiritual growth as she was the one who first took her to church at Fellowship Fayetteville. Taylor eventually transferred out which made it difficult for Jenna to want to continue going to church. She felt like she lost her friend and her confidant in the faith. However, she found her way back to Fellowship thanks to two upperclassmen on the Volleyball team - Gracie Ryan and Lauren Evans - who took Jenna under their wing!

Jenna is ready for 2022. She's ready to start NOW. The Lord is teaching her to be patient. She's learning to believe in HIM and trust in His timing in all things. During this off-season she's eager to continue to develop as an athlete and in her faith.
